The event we’ve been all waiting for. The event we’ve put months of planning into. The event that once attracted media attention, and might be the greatest event of the year... International Bazaar! International Bazaar is an annual event here at The Woodlands, and it is an incredible opportunity to travel the world in 80 minutes! Between the incredible food and the breathtaking performances, it is 80 minutes of a person’s life that cannot be missed. On April 23, 2019, Woodlands once again hosted this incredible event. This is the event that students and teachers alike spend hours planning and doing, making sure that each year, it is as extraordinary as any other year. There were a plethora of booths, each serving excellent food, from Middle East, to China, to Italy, plus a whole lot more. When you entered gym A/B, it was transformed; it wasn’t the good old gym A/B you have Phys. Ed class in or have have team practices in. It was an exhibition hall for the ages. There were posters hung up at almost every booth to signify the country or region. For instance, at the Middle Eastern booth, there was a painting of the Blue Mosque in Turkey, among other dazzling paintings. As being a part of the Middle Eastern booth myself, I can assure you that it was truly amazing this year. We put a lot of effort into making everything happen in order to make the day undoubtedly memorable. International Bazaar enhanced my eighth grade experience overall; it was the highlight of the year. Ultimately, International Bazaar is the best event that Woodlands has; be sure to come out next year!
